As believers, we should aspire to maturity by leaving elementary things and moving into the higher dimension of the call of God. PHYSICAL MATURATION:It is interesting to note that the dresses we wore from infancy to teenage age cannot be used when we cross twenty years. They will not only be out of fashion they will also be too small for our size. It is important that as we grow up those things that cover our nakedness should of necessity change with time. The implication of this is that we should grow in Knowledge of the word and of God so that His presence will cover our limitations. There is no other way to do so than to dwell in the secret place of the Most High as we found in Psalm 91:1-4 which says “He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler” he shall cover you simply means you will not be naked in life. May the Lord grant you the privilege of not being naked in life.

SPIRITUAL MATURATION: Spiritual Maturation is far from Physical Maturation in that it has to do with denying yourself. You have to make a business of mortifying the flesh so that it does not color the intention of God for your life. The highly honored High Priest of Israel missed it when he was swayed by the desire of the people. He could not finish his commission gloriously. May the Lord grant us grace to finish well.
PERSONAL EVALUATION:In the course of our life, we have to develop a means of evaluating ourselves to know whether we are still afflicted by the elementary things which we should have left some years behind. Do we have plans of what if God permits, we should do to continue to be in service to His pleasure? The bible advised us to self-evaluate as we found in 2 Corinth 13:5 “Examine yourselves, whether you be in faith; prove your own selves…….
Conclusion
Believers Maturation is a process that starts at birth until our course is run. Scientists told us that there are stars that expire and burn out. Their light is no more in heaven, they have run their course. May your light continue to shine brighter until the day of his coming. May the Lord grant us grace to continue to mature and to be relevant in the kingdom until our time expires in Jesus’ name.
